My dad called me for my birthday this week.
(let’s not discuss it)
(let’s not discuss it)
When he inquired as to what I’m doing,
I replied that I’m spinning plates.
I replied that I’m spinning plates.
It seems I’ve got quite a few plates in the air,
and I am just racing back and forth across the stage,
trying to keep them all spinning aloft.
One of these days,
one of those plates is going to take off.
When that finally happens,
I can let the others drop and ride the jet stream of the airborne dinnerware.
Until then,
I’ll just keep ’em spinning!
Looking for techniques?
this week’s plates: B*Rod home from school, dyeing fabric and lace for Baby Brown Eye’s dress, aging silk to match aged designer gown, finish altering designer gown, sew footballs for Haiti orphans, write blogs, motivate kids, make onion bread, maybe clean house, lunch with sistas, sketches and designs for retail project, research and development on new tools. . . . .and they just keep spinning.
Note to self: Wear shoes!

Oh Paula, if helping me with the dresses is too much, just tell me where to go. Seriously, I wont be offended. I know how you feel. I often feel I’ve got a million things going or nothing at all. Honestly, why can’t life just even it’s self out?
On another note… HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!
Love ya!
Are you kidding me? I can’t wait to hang for a few with you and yours. Besides, by Wed. I’ll have an empty stick looking for a new plate!! Love you and can’t wait to see you~P.
